The medicinal cannabis licence security check is a free self-assessment for licence applicants and holders under the Narcotic Drugs Act 1967. It tests your security arrangements against the Office of Drug Control (ODC) guideline on the security of medicinal cannabis, including the additional expectations for sites holding high-THC cannabis, and shows your gaps by area.
The Office of Drug Control must refuse a licence if it is not satisfied that the applicant will take all reasonable measures to ensure the physical security of cannabis, and security arrangements accepted by ODC become licence conditions. Answer the first question to show the additional items that apply to sites holding high-THC cannabis. The medicinal cannabis security guide explains the requirements in more detail.
Answer each question Yes, Partly, No or Not sure, then select See my results. Each area is scored out of 100 per cent, with Partly counted as half. You will see an overall rating, a score for each area and your priority actions, and you can email yourself a branded PDF report to share with your executive or board. It takes about five minutes.
