Troy has significant experience in protective security, having spent over 23 years in the Australian Army, undertaking multiple overseas deployments and conducting roles within specialist operations, capability development, training and management.
Troy has conducted security risk assessments, programs, and training across both Australia and globally; and has a firm working knowledge of current protective security standards, legislation and frameworks.
He was formerly a member of the Board of Advisers for the Cybersecurity Institute for Small to Medium Business in the United States.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Leadership. He also has diplomas in Management, Security and Risk Management, and Project Management.
As well as developing and delivering training for government and commercial entities, Troy also teaches part-time at NSW TAFE, and trains and mentors students within the Certificate IV and Diploma programs for Security and Risk Management.
